2nd week of college

well, it is the 2nd week of school and so far so good. So far the hardest thing I have encountered on campus is finding somewhere to park. There are a lot of parking lots, but if you don't come in early (like at 7) it is almost impossible to find a space without having to walk a long way. There is only one good thing that I can say will come from that, I might loose some weight! I still feel a little out of place, but I think that will change as the semester progresses. I am just amazed at how fast paced everything is, and am hoping I will be able to keep up with the pace of everything.

keep checking back, I will continue to post every week( usually on mondays)

january 17, 2006

I am 27 and a new freshman in college at APSU in clarksville, TN. Finally going to college is a very exciting feeling and also a very scary feeling. It's the first day of classes and I already wonder "am i really going to be able to do this"? I recently read an essay for my APSU class over the weekend that said :if you work hard you will get results". So, as in that essay I am going to increase the odds in my favor through these simple techniques:
1. envision a mission result oriented
3.tap your internal sources
4.enlist team spirit
5.treat setbacks as stepping stones

I think that if i apply these techniques to my overall college experience i will get my desired results.

I will be posting again for updates, so keep checking
